Summer At RGVAS
RGVAS has been inspiring Artist for 31 years. We are a year round school with evening classes as well as summer camps. This summer we are offering 5 different camps.
Acro Dance Camp June 1st- 4th and July 13th-16th 11:15-12:15. These camps lead By our very sweet talented energetic Miss. Sandy. Keeping to the theme Circus these campers will have fun conditioning exercises and safe acro techniques taught. Some fun basic dance steps to enhance the creative circus dance the campers will perform on last da of camp for their parents. for more information call 412-1314 or register here under events!
Ballet Beach Camp 8th- 11th 11:15-12:00 is the next camp we will offer. Lead by the Angelic Miss Maddy. Here campers can wear beach wear and Miss Maddy will guide them through fun ballet movement all to those favorite beach songs. Props are supplied to campers and can take home at the end of their parent showing on last day. Register for this event here.
Ballerina Princess camp June 22-25th 11:15-12:15 is a favorite among all our princesses. Guided by Miss Lauren our newest staff member but not new to rgvas. Dancers will have the opportunity to dress up each day in a beautiful ballet costume from our giant costume closet, transforming them into the ballerina Princess they have always dreamed to be. Crafts will be made and a classical ballet dance will be taught to perform before their royal subjects! Register for this camp under events.
For the Tiny TuTu's July 6th- 9th 11:15-12:00, we have this camp! Lead by Miss. Lauren these Tiny's will have a blast getting to know the magical world of ballet. Safe, age appropriate ballet technique will be taught and a small adorable dance will be performed on the last day of camp.
Lastly we have our Broadway Triple Threat Camp July 7th - August 1st. This came is for Serious Artist ages 8 and up. Our Coaches will work on all aspects of being a triple threat in the theater world, Singing, Acting, Dancing and Backstage work. This 8 session workshop will take the dedicated student, the student willing to put in the time and the open mind for growth. August 1st will be each students time to shine in their Broadway inspired performance, where each student will present a group dance, a solo song, and a group acting scene.
